In september i decided to move to new zealand. I arranged to leave my job, the best job I have ever had with people I dearly love and who are now close friends of mine. I gave up my beloved $15000 car, I said goodbye to friends I have known for 16 years, to move across teh world to be with another best friend of mine i have known for 9 years. We had been through everything together.
When I arrived things were a bit tense. She was going through a hard patch with her girlfriend. The girlfriend dumped her the next week.
My best friend blamed me, for getting involved, and our friendship dissolved when she later started telling lies about me to her friends.
I had to move out of the flat we had gotten together and go and live with her ex girlfriend and her mum.
She continued to lie about me, to my ex boyfriends at home, to my friends at home, and blamed me solely for the break down of her relationship.
She turned out not to be the person I had known so well for 9 years at all.
